I did it!

Here I am, finishing my first marathon, with my awesome running buddy, Brittany! It was so super fun! It turned out to be a gorgeous day. We ran in Newport, by the water, and the sun felt so good after 20 + days of rain in Portland! We ran well and felt good. That is me with the hot pink socks. I am so tough, huh? My time was 4 hours 19 minutes, which was just under my goal, so I felt good about that. Please forgive me if I gloat, brag, and walk around with a big head for a few days. I am still on cloud nine!

You should gloat and brag! Okay, I just saw that everyone else has said that too. Oh well. That is so awesome. Seriously. I know that is a lot of hard work and time to prepare for that. Congrats.
